While Tim has maintained a zero-cancellation record since 1976, we are firm believers in a "Belts & Braces" approach. As a professional, Trading Standards Approved service, we have rigorous contingency plans to ensure that your event is protected against the unexpected.

Our Backup DJ & Contingency Policy

We understand that you aren't just booking "a DJ"—you're booking a successful celebration. If an extreme emergency or illness prevents Tim from attending, here is how we protect your event:

1. Professional Partner Network

We maintain a "reciprocal agreement" with a select group of highly experienced, vetted professional DJs.

Proven Credentials: We only work with peers who meet our high standards for equipment, music knowledge, and professionalism (many are fellow NADJ members).

Seamless Handover: In the rare event of a substitution, Tim personally ensures your replacement has full access to your Client Portal. They will have your exact playlist, "Must Plays," "Party Starters," and all venue timing details.

2. Notification & Transparency

Immediate Contact: We will notify you the moment a situation arises. You will never be left "wondering" if your DJ is going to show up.

Cost Protection: Any additional costs for hiring a replacement in an emergency are covered by us—your agreed contract price remains exactly the same.

3. Emergency Standby Status

Because Tim is a full-time professional, he is often the one receiving calls to save events when other DJs let people down. His show is kept in constant "ready-to-load" status. This deep involvement in the local emergency DJ network means he has the best contacts in the industry to call upon if he ever needs a "Plan B" for his own clients.

Technical Backups on the Night

Contingency isn't just about the person; it’s about the equipment. To ensure the music never stops, Tim carries:

Duplicate Playback Systems: A secondary laptop and touch-screen console are always ready.

Backup Audio: Independent mixers and spare cables are kept on-site.

Essential Spares: Spare microphones (wired and wireless) and emergency lighting units are standard in our rig.
