Can We Submit a Custom Song Playlist for Our Children's Party?

Published 1 month ago

Yes, absolutely! We want the music to reflect your child's personality and favourite trends. Your Secure Client Portal includes a dedicated music management system specifically for this purpose.

Can We Submit a Custom Playlist for a Children’s Party?

We actively encourage parents to send us a "Must Play" list in advance. This ensures Tim has every favorite track ready to go, from the latest viral dance hits to classic sing-alongs.

How to Build Your Playlist

Once you log in to your Client Portal using your ID Number and Surname, you can:

Add "Must Play" Tracks: List the songs your child absolutely loves.

Specify "Do Not Play": If there are certain songs (or "Baby Shark" for the tenth time!) that you’d rather avoid, just let us know.

Interactive Search: Use our built-in database to search for songs and add them directly to your event list.

What Music Do We Carry?

Tim’s extensive library is updated weekly and covers:

Current Charts: The latest hits are popular with primary and secondary school-age students.

Disney & Movie Soundtracks: From Frozen and Encanto to the latest blockbusters.

Party Classics: The "action songs" that get everyone moving, like the Cha Cha Slide and Macarena.

Radio-Safe Edits: We prioritise "Clean" or "Radio Edit" versions of popular tracks to ensure the lyrics remain age-appropriate.

💡 A Professional Tip for Parents

Check the "Clean" Status: We recommend reviewing your child’s requested playlist before submitting. You might be surprised at the lyrics in some trending songs! While Tim always uses professional Radio Edits to filter out explicit language, some songs may still have themes you find unsuitable for your specific group. If you're unsure, just add a note in the portal and Tim will check the track for you.

Ready to Start Your Playlist?

Your guest request link is also available in the portal. You can send this to other parents so the children can have a say in the music before the party even starts!

Tim's Top 10 High-Energy Songs for 2026

These tracks are currently the most requested for filling dance floors and keeping the energy high:

"APT." — Rosé & Bruno Mars: A massive viral hit that gets everyone jumping.

"Espresso" — Sabrina Carpenter (Clean Edit): The summer anthem that kids still can't get enough of.

"HOT TO GO!" — Chappell Roan: Features a simple, catchy dance that is perfect for group participation.

"Golden" — Ejae: A high-energy favourite that recently gained even more fame following the Golden Globes.

"Lava Chicken" — Jack Black: From the Minecraft movie—a guaranteed hit with the primary school crowd.

"Dance The Night" — Dua Lipa: The Barbie movie classic that remains a staple for any "glitter and disco" party.

"BIRDS OF A FEATHER" — Billie Eilish: A melodic but upbeat track that older children and tweens love.

"We Don't Talk About Bruno" — Encanto: Still a champion for a full-room sing-along.

"Dynamite" — BTS: The ultimate K-pop track to get a dance-off started.

"The Bluey Theme (Remix)": Perfect for younger groups (Ages 3–6) to burn off some serious energy.

How We Manage the "Clean" Factor

As a Trading Standards Approved entertainer, I take age-appropriateness seriously. When you submit your playlist through the Client Portal:

Radio Edits Only: I always use professional "Clean" versions of chart hits.

The "Kidz Bop" Option: For songs with catchy beats but slightly mature themes, I often use the Kidz Bop versions to keep the vibe fun and safe.

Vetting Your List: If your child requests a song like "Pink Pony Club" or "Million Dollar Baby," I ensure the version played is suitable for a young audience.
