Do You Play Every Song Request That Guests Make?
While Tim strives to accommodate as many guest requests as possible, he uses his 50 years of experience to curate the music for the best possible atmosphere. DJ Tim reserves the right to decline requests that may be unsuitable for the event, could "clear the dance floor," or simply don't fit the vision you have created for your celebration.
Our priority is always to keep your guests entertained and the energy on the dance floor high.
How We Handle Requests:
Atmosphere First: If a guest requests a slow ballad in the middle of a high-energy dance set, Tim may hold that track back for a more appropriate moment or decline it if it risks stopping the party's momentum.
The "Do Not Play" Check: We cross-reference every live request against your personal exclusion list. If you've banned a song, it won't be played—no matter how much a guest insists!
Interactive Tech: Guests can send requests directly to Tim’s Interactive Touchscreen via the on-the-night QR codes, allowing Tim to see the "queue" and seamlessly weave the best tracks into his set.
Our Strict Content Standards
To ensure a safe and professional environment for all ages, we follow a strict music policy:
Clean Versions Only: All music requests must be swear-free. We exclusively source "Radio Edits" or clean versions to ensure your event remains professional and family-friendly.
Sensitive Content: Tim will not play any tracks that reference self-harm or suicide.
Appropriate Lyrics: We check all tracks to the best of our ability to keep the playlist free of explicit profanity and highly sexualised lyrics.
Tip from Tim: My goal is to make sure everyone has a great time. Sometimes that means politely saying "no" to one guest to ensure the other 100 people keep dancing!
